Have you ever seen a girl child cooking just after birth?! Or a boy child riding a bike just after birth?! Strange right!!!
So then when they grow up why each gender is assigned particular tasks? Why doesn’t society allow them to learn the same skills together?
None of the skills are pre-learned by a girl or a boy before they are born.
When a baby is inside the mom’s womb whether it is a girl or a boy, they are treated equally. The operation of the mom’s body doesn’t differentiate the child during pregnancy.
When they come out of the womb, then why does society give a label to a girl and a boy baby?
Why do they specialize the skills to each of them?
Why cannot both of them learn some skills and be treated equally after coming out from the womb?
I wonder with these questions whenever I come across society’s behavior towards gender roles. So, I have put these thoughts/questions here.
